@tleehumphrey This has been public since October 25. It’s a needed realignment for the planned growth and rearming of the CAF. I thought your type would be happy
I’m just spitballing here but could it be that the oil companies are in business to make money and they aren’t going to drop prices back to 2006 levels? Unless you’re suggesting that the government take control and regulate prices?
I hear so many people blaming the outrageous gas prices on Donald Trump, but here’s a fact for y’all to ponder.
Oil just topped $100 per barrel. As of five minutes ago gas is selling for $1.90/litre in my neighborhood.
The last time oil hit $100 per barrel was under Stephen Harper, yet gas prices topped out at $1.38 per litre back then.
Yes, the Iran war is affecting gas prices, but there’s about 52¢/litre that is the direct result of taxes, environmental taxes, and taxes on those taxes.
There's a difference between criticism of Canadian Armed Forces recruiting with the aim to improve it at a time of rapid expansion and shitting all over it in order to push the idea that Canada is broken and needs Maga to save it from the threat of a "great replacement"
Funny, big hand little map always meant the bigger picture. Two up which helped us in our MA in order to accomplish our Comd intent and ME.
And it’s good idea fairy.
“If we are ever to have a combat focused appropriately sized military that is lethal, mobile & affordable, we need to have a Minister of National Defence who has served & was never a GOFO & who has the stones to fire all of the existing … Officers & then interview some of them to see if they can be salvaged or if they were enthusiastically part of the problem that created the current mess.”
@ErinTuroff@johnkonrad See, the funny thing is. Ol John here isn’t in the Navy. Although from the post he wrote that’s what he infers. He’s a dude desperate for any credibility and the best way is to attach himself to this abomination of an administration.
