@poleocolina@HenYay@LemonLymancom I would also argue that while the VPs authority was "murky at best" and his actions not necessarily constitutional. The next officer in line stepped up on a crisis & then stepped back when the President was able to resume duty, which is at least the spirit of how it should be.
@poleocolina@HenYay@LemonLymancom True, but it's not the case that Toby made and it's also a flaw in the system as a whole as no administration has ever just left a pre-signed letter around and doing so could also cause its own problems.
@HenYay@LemonLymancom Except he was wrong, Hoynes was every bit in command in the situation room that night. McNally stated her perspective and Leo gave his and Hoynes chose to go with Leo.
@DanMcGowan What amazes me is that McKee has tried to foist this on Raimondo and perhaps rightly so, but each day that he chooses to keep her RIDOT Director the more he owns this fiasco, someone should be telling him this.
@Dylan2DC As long as we don't end up with 60 of them in RI each covering about 3 square miles each managing millions in the secrecy afforded by their obscurity... like most other RI 'districts'.
@DanMcGowan@PPSDTruthTeller That is mainly true because in public sector rarely is there proper performance management and documentation steps to prove cause beyond some extreme incident.
@PTU958@MRanglinVassell@pvdschools The previous schedule is a reduction from the current schedule, is it not? That previous schedule IIRC was also one of the lowest in the state.
@KenBlockRI I drive across 4 days a week. Since the third lane opened the mornings have been almost back to normal, the evening commute is still a bit rough but only 5 to 10 minutes extra. There still needs to be accountability for sure but it's not crippling anymore either.
