@penahening The technique can be learnt quickly. The issue is shoulder strength/stamina. Plastering apprentices learn that the key is getting the plaster on quickly so you can level and smooth it before it starts to set.

The weeks they spend mixing plaster by hand are prep for the real job.

It would be nice if someone could explain to me like I'm stupid why oil has increased by 1% per barrel but petrol and diesel have increased by an average of 12% per litre.

The Iran conflict explains the barrel price...not clear that it explains the pump price.
