I think this is actually the Government trying to retaliate against Anthropic for refusing to allow the government to use its AI models for autonomous killing. This process needs to be transparent and handled in courts.
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

@AnthropicAI I think this is likely the Government retaliating because Anthropic would not allow the Government to use its AI models for autonomous killing. This process needs to be transparent and handled in courts.
@MiniRetireMatt What teacher makes $125k per year, without living in an ultra high cost of living area?
Florida pays teachers like $40-70k. Most University professors don't even earn $125k/yr.
Something is different with the new #Opus 4.6 model ๐คฏ ... I don't typically jump on the new AI mode overhype bandwagons...
Usually the hype far exceeds the gains, but not this time...
Opus4.6 is a pleasure to work through complex technical & coding problems with!
It's WAY smarter in a way that its hard to pinpoint. It excells at gathering relevant & recent information and it took a BIG leap forward in when it comes to planning, recall, and implementation. It's eager, proactive, coaches the me on how to get it to perform better.
With other models I'd have to correct them and troubleshoot what was built incorrectly. After a few hours I'd be ๐ฉexhausted from working with those other AI models.
This is the first #AI ๐ค that has really shown that good AI is capable of doing real vauable work with minimal ongoing human direction/oversight.
I was inspired by this so I wanted to see if Claude Code can get into my Lutron home automation system.
- it found my Lutron controllers on the local wifi network
- checked for open ports, connected, got some metadata and identified the devices and their firmware
- searched the internet, found the pdf for my system
- instructed me on what button to press to pair and get the certificates
- it connected to the system and found all the home devices (lights, shades, HVAC temperature control, motion sensors etc.)
- it turned on and off my kitchen lights to check that things are working (lol!)
I am now vibe coding the home automation master command center, the potential is ๐ฅ.And I'm throwing away the crappy, janky, slow Lutron iOS app I've been using so far. Insanely fun :D :D
A few weeks ago, I was chatting with Rebecca Love about my business, and she STRONGLY recommended that I go to the HLTH conference. It is so focused on #Innovation, I knew it would be a great place to connect with vendors and speakers about #AI.
Last week, I woke up randomly at am because I couldn't sleep, I happened to scroll past a NurseApproved post with an application for an event Scholarship.
I immediately got up, applied, and submitted my application.
To my surprise, I was awarded the scholarship!! I am super pumped to attend the conference AND participate in the Nurse Hackathon!
I found out that the scholarship sponsor was Joey Ferry, BSN, RN, and Taofiki Gafar-Schaner, MSN, RN, inventors of SafeSeizure and founders of Frontier Innovations, Inc.
It is such a small world... three years ago, I had the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Joey on my podcast, where he shared his entrepreneurial journey.
I call it God; others might call it luck, but either way, it's amazing how the world sometimes goes out of its way to align in our favor. Huge thanks to Joey and Taofiki!
๐ก๐ญ๐ฒSocial media algorithms are designed to push out the most POLAR and TOXIC content.
WHY? ...because angry/passionate people engage with polar content the most.
The more toxic content someone engages with, the more of that content they see in their feed.
...And so the cycle feeds itself, not because it seeks truth, but because outrage is the easiest fuel for attention.
The only defense is conscious choice... Guard your focus, because what you feed your mind will quietly shape who you become.
When the GOING GETS TOUGH, THE TOUGH GET GOING.
Step 1: FOCUS, FOCUS, FOCUS
โ Eliminate all external distractions & noise that pull us from our goals.
This place (called a library๐) has helped me reach my goals more than once. So, I'm returning to what works.

Exactly why most smart rich people earn their riches quietly.
Flaunt it and tell too many people about the level of your success and youโre instantly a massive target.
Attorneys will do and say anything to take money from someone.
You earned it. You deserve it. Fight hard. ๐
Their tech team tried to say this was a glitch with GSC even after I gave them access to GSC... It is crystal clear that the drop in traffic is directly correlated to something at WIX that is block GSC bots, the same thing happened (around the same time) with other sites we have on WIX.
Sept 3rd our team noticed that our @Wix websites are not being indexed by Google because GSC cannot fetch the sitemap.xml or robots.txt files.
The tech support team has not taken this seriously; in fact, they haven't even taken any action or responded to any emails since early Friday morning.
Meanwhile, my #Wix #business website traffic is down nearly 98%!
We have been paying customers with multiple Wix websites on @WixStudio for over 8 years. This is our first time needing urgent tech support, and we are very disappointed. This should have been escalated to a support level that works weekends.

I have been using #GPT5 for about 6 hours straight. I am totally NOT impressed with #GPT5 when being used as a model to help with tech implementation. ๐
It completely forgets everything about my conversation within just a few prompts and it loses track of all the details, it is worse than any other leading model that I've seen.
โ It got work done that I didn't have time to do.
Most of the wasted time was due to this:
Even after it accomplished the task the first time, instead of remembering the steps it took, it had to figure it out again the second time, and the same thing happened the third time.
Once the #OpenAI engineers figure out how to give this agent model memory, so that it can learn from its successes, it will be at least 10 times faster for repetitive tasks.
I put the top #AI#agent to the test and asked it to fix the broken image links that happened when we migrated our site to a new web server.
It nailed it!
Was it fast? Heck no! it took 28 minutes to fumble its way through it BUT...
