Pandora satellite is a very interesting idea, and has done promising ideas to decoupling a lot of the degeneracy in exoplanet transit observations. #SPIEastro https://t.co/qJyKkp4A85
Switching to virtual machines has been great. Ran upgrades this morning which broke everything. A quick restore from image backups and everything is running again.
Getting ready for a meeting that has been in the works for a few weeks. Now a van with a loud generator has parked itself outside my window and the power is flickering off and on. :-0
@JasonFRowe Canada Research Chair on Exoplanet Astrophysics is at the heart of NASA's projected Pandora mission which would look to analyze the atmosphere of exoplanets, an important clue about where life might have developed beyond Earth https://t.co/ozgsYmcM4R
Launched 8 years ago, 🇨🇦’s NEOSSat remains the world’s only space telescope tracking asteroids, comets, satellites and space debris. It now also collects data on exoplanets. Even in space, some things get better with age! https://t.co/4FUkyvThEn

After a very busy winter break my team submitted a 145 page proposal to continue some really exciting Space Astronomy work. Now I need to transition to teaching and my giant pile of projects that need to be finished. But before that I’m taking today off. Vacation time!
