@notbobkoz This is an extremely low brow show overall. Tried listening for a time but his takes are almost always terrible and he doesn’t actually understand metrics at all. Not worth wasting any time over there.
Red Bull’s major weight loss update in Austria could be crucial for Max Verstappen’s future.
Reportedly, Max has an exit clause in his contract that allows him to activate it if he is below P2 in the standings by the summer break.
If Max leaves Red Bull, which team would you advise him to join?

@0kFlasks@SamKuffelWx You can trade a player for cash considerations which is essentially the team taking on the player getting contract relief. If someone does claim him this will be the outcome.
To my point last night about a Misiorowski extension that I’ve been replying but feel needs its own tweet
Factors that should play into why it’s not that insane of a thought
Salary floor is coming. What that number is? Probably in the 150-170 range. Brewer CURRENTLY are
I heard someone on a pod a few weeks ago saying they had a similar issue where the nerve was no longer compressed, no surgery required but it took 5-6 months for the feeling to return to the hand. May just be a time thing.
Quinn Priester is rejoining the team in Milwaukee as the Brewers evaluate what’s next. A trip back to the nerve specialist in Dallas is likely. The nerve, Pat Murphy said, is not compressed but he’s still feeling some discomfort.
@sjjudge09@Brandon_Sneide That’s my entire point though. Why would someone who’s going to be a free agent at age 30 sign a 1-2 year deal when they could sign a 6-8 year deal. Contreras would be stupid to do that. He’s going to hit FA as soon as he can. It’s the smart play for him to do.
@sjjudge09@Brandon_Sneide So in order to help the pitchers in the short term you want to be paying a 38yo Contreras in 10 years? He will get a massive deal on the open market so why would he sign anything less with us….
@jake_schwall Of course not but you’re also not sending Sal down while Perkins stay on the roster. Lara would eat starts from both right field and center.
@Dom_Cotroneo It’s terrible. It’s be like watching a major championship at a local par 3. Churio’s laughing around the bases after his wrist flip says it all.
An issue that I’m consistently seeing in challenging a ball is that many umps just make “no call” on a ball so the catcher has to just sit there waiting for a potentially delayed strike call. They should be required to audibly call both ball and strike and without delay
