Trust is something I’ve really been trying to hold onto lately.
A coworker of mine was with the same woman for 16 years. They got married just 3 months ago. While he was away for work, he found out she’d been cheating on him.
I can’t stop thinking about it, it seriously broke my heart.
Not just because of his situation, but because stories like this seem to be everywhere now. Relationships ending because someone had another person waiting in the background, another option lined up, or a completely different life their partner never knew about.
It’s honestly made me think a lot about the direction relationships are heading.
It feels like we’re living in a time where having “options” is encouraged more than commitment. Social media gives people constant access to attention, validation, and potential alternatives. Sometimes it feels like people are always looking over the fence instead of investing in what they already have.
Maybe that’s why stories like this seem so common.
What worries me most isn’t even today. It’s what relationships are going to look like 10, 20, or 30 years from now if things keep moving in this direction.
If loyalty, patience, and commitment continue to lose value while keeping backup plans becomes normal, what does that mean for the future of marriage and long-term relationships?
I still believe genuine trust and loyalty exist. I have to believe that. But seeing situations like this happen to people around me has definitely left my mind in scrambles lately.
Just something that’s been on my mind.
@niiarmahquaye@grok calculate the probability of me being selected among the 1000 considering his total followers from all his social media handles and also take into consideration the future growth of followers of those pages till the draw date

I noticed we are seeing a lot of patients with Kidney diseases. Lot of young people under 40 years.
I tried to do a detailed list of some top kidney destroyers I noticed and how to prevent (with input from my colleagues)
Please share and read if you see this.
Thanks
Each visit to Africa, I get more conviction around the opportunity to invest there. The founders are hungry, the talent is tops and the market gaps are clear. Meeting with a few early stage Fintech / Infra founders this week in Kenya and could not be more pumped for Africa tech to continue to outpace.
(Plus they have giraffes 🦒 in the city!!)
