Being the fastest worker in the room is a trap.

In factories and corporate offices alike, speed doesn't get you promoted.

It gets you trapped.

If you are the most productive person on the line, you become too expensive to replace. Management keeps you right where you are because your raw output subsidizes everyone else.

Meanwhile, the people moving into Quality Control, logistics, or management aren't the fastest.

They are the ones who refuse to be defined by manual output. They analyze the system instead of drowning in it.

Speed without leverage isn't a superpower.

It's self inflicted golden handcuffs.

Don't optimize for speed. Optimize for position.

Hospitals don't make money on healthy people. They make money on procedures.

Chemo and radiation are massive business. Sometimes aggressive treatments destroy your body faster than the disease ever would have.

Surgeons get bonuses for operating. The system is built to treat you; not always to heal you.

Early detection gives you options. But blindly trusting a system built on profit is a huge risk.

Sometimes the best move is stepping back until you get a second, unbiased opinion.

Would you trust the first doctor's treatment plan, or would you demand a second opinion first?
