On a winding journey to improve the health and well-being of people; General Surgery Resident at @WSUBSOMSurgery via @CFAR_Inc, @BrighamSurgery, @UMichMedSchool
Interesting finding that small group coaching (among internal med docs) outperformed one-on-one coaching for burnout measures, compared to control group.
I would've thought one-on-one would be more powerful.
Small group is more scalable, though!

I'm excited to share that I'm resuming my surgical training at @WSUBSOMSurgery! I feel incredibly grateful for the opportunity to care for patients again, now drawing on the skills and perspectives I've gained over five years in coaching, leadership development, and consulting.
It's been a fun, winding, and rewarding journey so far. I've learned so much every step of the way, and I'm so grateful for the people who've helped me shape it.
Big changes ahead! After a meaningful few months of reflection and transition, my family and I are stepping into an exciting new chapter. More to come soon 😃
MGB financial performance an outlier in the hospital market, attributable primarily to its investment portfolio which many smaller organizations do not have access to.

Love the call to action by @davidevelasqu for rethinking requirements and experiences EARLY in the pipeline for physicians’ careers. Patients and communities today need different skills from their caregivers than the standard from 1910! #flexner
