Kenya Kwanza MPs were excited & giddy like kindergarten kids when they voted YES to the Finance Bill 2024. They high-fived each other & laughed at the Gen Z protestors seeing them as stupid! Then when the President refused to assent to the Bill & said it be βdeletedβ, the same MPs were excited & took a victory dance around the President. There has never been in our History a group of MPs as useless, clueless, corrupt & weak like our current KK MPs. But we can understand as most of them are either illiterate or wash-wash businessmen!
Poor people wake up daily in Africa, go to their businesses & sell nothing. It's not so much a function of hope as it is activity. Because they know that the day they stop is the day die. They'd sooner dress up, loiter in town, then head home in the evening. And I understand.
