@DeepikaBhardwaj He doesnt have a brother serving in the army.
He doesnt have his parents being called to @republic by Arnab Goswami neither Barkha Dutt carry out panel discussions nor will retired Justices take a stand for this boy.
His biggest misfortune is being born a male.
Church Mission School, Fateh Kadal in Srinagar, Kashmir. My grandfather & father studied here. We studied at a sister school at new campus. Outstanding school with extra curricular activities. Watch all wearing turbans , a distinguished sign.
Many recently retired veterans have joined the chorus for erasing from memory the DGC. 40 percent membership of DGC is with services Looking for sops from the Govt. Carrots are dangling. And sadly that's what breaks the unity within the community of veterans .
Sharp Edge: I don’t like Raj era clubs and I will never become a member of one. So whatever happens to the Delhi Gym makes no difference to my life.
And yes it may be unfair to charge only a nominal rent to a club that mostly caters to
retired army officers & civil servants
But if you are talking about unfairness why stop at veterans? Why not throw ministers out of their huge houses? Why not take away their motorcades? Ground their private planes?
Today’s Lutyens elite comprises politicians who have run Lutyens Delhi for a decade and live in those huge Lutyens bungalows. Why pamper the new Lutyens elite and persecute soldiers who
have fought for our country and bureaucrats who gave their lives for India ?
Don’t swallow the propaganda & the lies. Don’t let political dadagiri extend to attacking veterans and retired civil servants while politicians live off honest tax payers

Well argued by @virsanghvi : My view is that if you object to retired government servants having a club of their own, then you must also evict ministers from their bungalows and make them drive around in small cars without these huge convoys.
Why should politicians, most of whom have access (should they want it) to vast cash incomes, be allowed to live like kings while retired government servants are turfed out of their clubs? You can’t have one standard for the political class and another for everyone else.

@TinyDhillon Your choice. I do not endorse your views. 40 percent of members are from armed forces and you don't wish to stand by them. I rest my case.
Thank you.
