@RealDianeYap Be honest. It's the same for an attractive enough man as well. Henry Cavill could be working fast food playing Warhammer 40k with the homies every night and he would still be a draw.
And for women it's astrology. Astrology girls are unattractive.
@RealDianeYap@theantipk No...it isn't? Documentaries are interesting windows into the lives of real people. Reality TV is faker than fiction.
Telling on yourself here.
@RealDianeYap Isn't the problem here the definition of "useless", though? Some of the most common things people spend their time on (watching sports, social media, etc.) can also be considered useless.
We also need to be careful with the idea that everyone must be productive all the time.
@MythicMgames ME1 was a tough play for me back in the day. The gameplay just isn't dialed in like it is in the sequels.
But thenl storytelling is probably at its best. You need that foundation before playing the sequels.
@DavidAFrench I appreciate the nuance on trans issues. You can be kind to someone without agreeing with their choices.
Don't let the haters get you down. Unleash French David on them if you must. Hon hon hon!
@jam091631272511@RoxyTall Petunia's skinny too and obviously not good. On my latest trip through the books (full-cast audiobooks), the emphasis on heavier characters' weight is really unfortunate but there is no consistency among characters in terms of weight absolutely correlating to goodness.
@verge Like Andrew Garfield said, boycotting doesn't hurt J.K. Rowling.
It hurts the thousands of artisans who work on adaptations of her work.
Full-cast audiobooks are fantastic, btw.
@ThePosieParker@jk_rowling@audible_com It's poor casting. Not because the person is trans, but because this actor comes nowhere close to producing a voice which reads as female.
In an audio-only medium, it's critical that the timbre of the voice communicated the character instantly.
