Apollo should never represent the upper limit of what @NASA can achieve. It should be a standard we continuously strive to exceed.
We’re bringing that intensity, discipline, and engineering ownership back to this agency. Great nations do not remain great by being caretakers of history, but by continuously making history.
The next Starship launch, Flight 15, will feature something never attempted before, ever. Catching a rocket from ORBIT! Yes, they've caught the booster before, but now it's time for the ship, and it's going to be EPIC!!!

THIS WILL BE INCREDIBLE TO SEE!!! Flight 15 could feature the first DOUBLE CATCH! That's right! Both ship and booster could be caught. This obviously means it'd be an orbital mission again too, so this will easily be the most exciting mission to date! I can't wait!!!
The reason why @SpaceX went down to 3 grid fins on their Super Heavy booster is quite clever! But according to @elonmusk, they might even get it down to 2... which I guess we'll have to wait and see!
This CIR is packing a punch! Solar wind data look great for some mid-latitude auroral displays soon. If you have dark and clear skies, look towards your poleward horizon and use a cell phone w/long exposure to see faint details. For my North American audience, yes these conditions could last until tonight, but we will have to wait and see.
What’s it like to be just 4 miles (6.4 km) away from #Starship V3!!! Notice how long it takes for the sound to hit and then watch how much stuff is shaking. Even image optical stabilizer can’t keep up! (And yes I’m a bit bummed I blocked so much of it)
You might have noticed that the rainy season is off to a slow start. In 81 years of records, it's Seattle's (Sea-Tac) 8th driest start for October thus far. If we stay dry through Wednesday as expected, we'll climb to 3rd.

With a max of 77° yesterday, we tied 2022 for the latest calendar day with a high temp at or above 75° at Sea-Tac.
Oct 16th 2022 was freakishly warm at 88°.
Odds of reaching 70° again are slim with around a 2% or less chance for any given day through end of October.

Stage 2 has officially left the rocket factory for the last time. 😢🫡
Now in Moses Lake, WA, it will undergo cryo proof testing and then a hotfire campaign with its Andromeda engine before shipment to our launch site in Cape Canaveral, FL.
It’s actually a crazy coincidence that this CME is hitting on 2026-10-10 and has almost the same field strength as the CME that hit on 2024-10-10. What are the chances?! There’s something about October 10 apparently… interesting 🤔
