Most of the questions were about being able to repeat last season, QB, and off-season. Because you know, they went 16-0, won the Heisman and 1st overall pick in the NFL.

FWIW, reported here, Southern Cal would only agree to renew the Notre Dame series if it could be scheduled early in the season. Which brought it into natural conflict with Notre Dame's series with Indiana.

They went 16-0 and in Sept. beat 2 teams that won a combined 20 games. Where one of those teams (ODU) finished second behind a CFP qualifier and played a closer game then the SEC 2nd place team. What are you talking about step it up? Don't let the SEC narrative fool you.

It doesn't matter anyway they've got ND on future schedules and most likely will change some OOC opponents before the ND series. But this isn't an issue.

Since 2023 the SEC 'good teams' are 14-19 against out of conference teams in the post season. They are 6-10 against the B1G. It gets worse, since 2024 they are 2-8 v B1G.
