yeah, i learned that a few years ago and it completely changed how I evaluated his work. Bart almost certainly had an affair but I'm not sure it changes the value of his systematic theology. But Tozer's entire proposition was an intimate relationship with Christ - and it proved to be completely at the expense of his family.
this is a recurring pattern with the Daily Wire since Jeremy left. They've apparently concluded that the only way to get market share back is to go more negative and cynical. Last week they attacked the boy scouts yet again - despite not a single one of them being in the fight. Before that Shapiro famously said no one should ever retire - as he sits behind a microphone. He's turned nasty.
They have nothing left to offer that is productive.
@realDailyWire Oh, go away. Plenty if us were actually in the trenches with our sons working hard. You get to just sit back and snipe after the fact while pontificating while you actually do nothing to be in the fight.
don't overthink this. As a Canadian ex-pat myself with all my family there (but I left in my 20's) - just continue to officially reside in Canada but just be a snowbird. Continue to take Canadian old age pension. Do what plenty of other Canadians do and just spend as much time in the States as possible.
@MasonSCraig if all Western gave you was a curated reading list then yes, you got scammed. Either that or you missed the entire point of higher education.
@davepl1968 Shapiro's problem is that frequently it's not WHAT he says but HOW he says it. He comes across as a jerk. He had to walk back and explain his comments multiple times and even then he still came across as a jerk.
@davepl1968 i have autopilot on my tesla and I've tried FSD a couple of times. FSD is not worth $99 /mo. Autopilot was great for long trips. But now they've gotten rid of autopilot and FSD is still $99 /mo.
It's worth $50 /mo max.
@SawyerMerritt and you don't get the light bar. And the glass roof is covered up. Fabric seats - no leather. No ambient lighting. I mean, come on. The prices are too high by at least 5k across the board.
@wholemars i really wonder if you're just trolling now. In the computer space there were excellent alternatives available for the same price or cheaper. Not a massive new subscription model. It can't just be 100% better - it has to be cost effective. $100 /mo is not.
@TeslaKing420@Tesla@elonmusk this move is absolutely inexplicable. With the loss of the tax credit, the introduction of worthless base models that no one wants nor will buy, and now this - what is the compelling reason to buy a Tesla? And I LOVE mine! Too expensive!!
@OutofSpecDetail@Tesla inexplicable. I don't want FSD. But I use autosteer\autopilot all the time. I might even pay $25 for it. But I don't want to pay $99 /mo for FSD. I simply don't use it enough.
This is a bad decision.
@elonmusk I am a massive Tesla fan. But this is crazy.
I don't want FSD at $99 /mo. But I do want autosteer. The fact I now need to pay $99 /mo (if I get another one) is insane to me.
Is Tesla determined to become a niche player? Honestly, I cannot see myself buying another one.
@SawyerMerritt I am a massive Tesla fan. But this is the most insane move I've heard of yet. I don't want nor need FSD. But I do want autosteer. The fact I now need to pay $99 /mo (if I get another one) is insane to me.
Is Tesla determined to become a niche player?
@stevesi and perhaps even worse - buses continue to be a cesspool. Yesterday my son was "pressed" and almost assaulted by a strung out guy on the bus from UW to downtown Bellevue. Assaults are common. Urination and defecation are common.
