The alleged perpetrator of today’s attack at 26 Federal Plaza came armed with axes, machetes, knives, a hammer and incendiary devices. I’m thankful for the quick actions by our federal law enforcement and NYPD that led to the area being made safe and the suspect brought into custody.

It is clear that the anti-ICE rhetoric coming from the radical left have emboldened agitators and anarchists, leading to anti-government anarchy like today’s attack and the 1300% increase in attacks against ICE agents.

We look forward to seeing the perpetrator of this act of domestic terrorism prosecuted to the fullest extent.
