π§π₯ππ‘πππ‘π: Free agent WR Stefon Diggs opens up about the possibility of going home and playing for the Commanders:
βItβs a lot of hopes. Weβre kind of figuring it out, working through some things. I did have a small piece of me, like damn, it would be great to come home and play in front of the fans.β

You can find quality starting interior OL on day 2 in this draft. Some of my favorites here:
Bisontis (A&M)
Pregnon (OR)
Rutledge (GT)
Dunker (Iowa)
Hecht (K State)
Jones (Iowa)
Former #AZCardinals G Evan Brown, who was released late this week, lands quickly with the #Texans on a 1-year deal for up to $3.5M, per The Insiders.
Deal negotiated by Sean Kiernan & Tommy Povinelli from @AthletesFirst.
@TheCoreyBarrett One of Joey Bosa, Haason Reddick, or Derek Barnett on 1yr deal as 3rd DE. Iβd take DJ Reader back on a 1yr deal too. Perhaps a veteran 3rd CB like Rasul Douglas, Cam Taylor-Britt, or Ahkello Witherspoon
@AaronWilson_NFL@KPRC2 Very happy to see the Texans add some leadership and swarm to the offense. Montgomery fills the role that the Texans missed very much with Mixonβs absence last year on and off the field
@JohnCrumplerMD Onboard as long as 2 of their first 4 picks are offensive lineman. Donβt really trust them to bring in anyone of caliber to play LG in free agency
After the initial wave of free agency this is what I see the Texans going after (not what I would do). Proctor starts at LG and can be future RT. Lee Hunter rounds out DT room. Hecht is your future Center. Roush is your blocking TE2 with athletic upside
Remaining Texans FA wishlist:
- Veteran IOL player (Teller, Bitonio, or Glasgow)
- Blocking TE (Alie-Cox or Dissly)
- Derek Barnett back on 1yr Deal
- Check in on RB Keaton Mitchell
- See if any good Veteran DTs want to come in on 1yr deal for cheap and revive their career
Really like the move for Braden Smith considering that heβs about 10M APY cheaper than Tytus Howardβs new contract. As of now Texans still have long term needs at T, G, and C but they could get by at tackle this year with Ersery, Braden Smith, Trent Brown, and Fisher
