@JabbaTheHut15 @paschutz Educate yourself instead of believing what the Democrats are feeding you. The only cost to the state would be with infrastructure. Instead of that they've given up decades of tax revenue (not to mention thousands of union construction jobs). It's a net loss for the state.

@therealburns3 The "renovation" was obsolete before it was competed. The only major change they've made since then has been the HD video boards.

I go to games in Baltimore and they are already on their second major renovation since M&T opened 30 years ago. The difference is night and day.

@TitleTownTalks Incorrect. The original concepts were for AH. The land they're getting in Hammond is actually bigger than what the own in AH. Chicago has been used for leverage. Drawings are relatively cheap.

Chicago did this to themselves. They shouldn't have sabotaged the Monday morning bill.

@MikeyOver1 People are overlooking that the new stadium will be closer to Soldier Field than Arlington Heights. The stadium will be within 5 minutes of the city of Chicago. Illinois lost a ton of tax revenue due to construction related taxes and years of sales tax revenue being paid to IN.

@BenMeunier1 @Hogdale_ Chicago politicians are why this happened. If their communist mayor hadn't opened his mouth, the Dems in the Assembly wouldn't have split (which is what killed the bill on Monday morning). Johnson is so much more responsible but JB will take the heat for this.
