@Zandorv@hecubian_devil And what political project is that?
Definitely nothing right leaning. And most socialists seem entirely focused on improving material conditions?
Or am I misunderstanding the point of OP?
@Atlas_basil Azune and Wic are both Good alligned Sorcerers? Tyranny was literally born to do evil and is choosing otherwise.
There has been and will continue to be exploring of these ideas.
I thinks its just a magical version of blood granting you power similar to the nobles of our world.
@fatespun I think that's why I like it. It's a fun twist!
I love this like Enlightenment style, plucky resistance version of wizardry. This idea that magic and power can be shared and not restricted to an elite few.
If there was literal power in Blood, fuckers would absolutely hoard it.
@frumpkinprinz I feel you! AND I'm so glad Brennan went this direction for him. It's alot more interesting for him to be conflicted about what he did.
He's probably like "I killed my own kin FOR NOTHING?!"
Were those things he said to Occtis during a means of justifying it to himself? ๐ค๐ง
@candescentfiend Its cause he's:
1. The head of the house so it's strange for him to get his hands dirty directly.
2. His expression during it makes it seem as though he was emotionally invested.
There's something~ strange about it and we're floundering trying to figure what and why.
@PandaKingEX It would just be a different game at that point. It's fine to like different stuff!
Anti-parry yap is boring cause there's no engagement with the fact that parrying is fun and tests different skills.
It's fun to be able to beat a boss while underleveled. It's also fun to choke.
@MegatenSenshi This feels like an opinion you read about.
Saying there's no strategy is goofy.
99.99% of players aren't speed/challenge runners.
Everyone else is using a strategy that involves missing parries. And having to improvise cause maybe you fucked up and 2 of your guys are down.
@The_mrNG@ShitlibSupreme I would congratulate them!
But, I would be surprised to see them pull it off since they seem to think just "wanting it harder" is enough to defeat Republicans.
But hey anything is possible.
@otherbarrylives@TheOmniLiberal We're fighting an information war all over the world.
Musk bought Twitter to control the flow of information.
Every loss is twisted to mean that the democrats WANTED to lose. We cannot simply have been outmaneuvered.
What a perfect environment to make sure we never win again.
@frumpkinprinz@ali_arkanciel Oh shit you got the clip and everything. Thank you. ๐๐ฝ
You the goat!
I remember this scene now. My original interpretation was hyper focused on Wizard v Sorcerer aspect. I didn't connect the dots.
Neat.
@hecubian_devil I think this is what scares me about it. It's my understanding that rent control is largely considered a bad policy.
But once you benefit from it you're heavily incentived to keep it going.
In the same way "everyone" having their wealth in homes disincentivises building more.
@egoforvases@linzer_art Wasnt intending to make a judgment call about it.
Just a possible explanation for why it seems to keep happening to Sam's characters.
I think it's a neat quirk of improv RP.
But, I was also disappointed, it felt like that should have been a bigger moment in the narrative.
