There has been and will continue to be exploring of these ideas.

I love this like Enlightenment style, plucky resistance version of wizardry. This idea that magic and power can be shared and not restricted to an elite few.

It's fun to be able to beat a boss while underleveled. It's also fun to choke.

99.99% of players aren't speed/challenge runners.

Everyone else is using a strategy that involves missing parries. And having to improvise cause maybe you fucked up and 2 of your guys are down.

@hecubian_devil I think this is what scares me about it. It's my understanding that rent control is largely considered a bad policy.

But once you benefit from it you're heavily incentived to keep it going.

In the same way "everyone" having their wealth in homes disincentivises building more.
