@doctorow @doctorow If no driver wants to accept the trip, either the customer has to pay more, or Doordash is making a business decision to subsidize that trip to gain market share. And if that’s the case, DD should pay the bill for their own business decision.

@doctorow Hi @doctorow - love the thread. It’s simple: independent contractors should know what they’re going to be paid, before they take the trip.

Each trip should stand up on its own merit. And if it doesn’t, the onus / cost shouldn’t be placed on the driver. Mind games aren’t cool.
