@AnnaRopp 2 words: security (usually there’s an expletive in front of the word security). Seriously though, helps mitigate phishing attacks and business email comprise. It is annoying though.
@MsPolymath And I find terrorism is inextricably intertwined with Homeland security...I teach it like we have to learn all we can about extremism —>terrorism ideology to know how to counter it. Good luck!
@MsPolymath It depends on the course. I have taught terrorism at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and there is definitive depth difference. Jonathan White’s Terrorism & Homeland Sec is in-depth. Gus Martin’s Essentials of Terrorism is a great foundation.
@AnnaRopp It’s been 95% sunny since I’ve been here. “Unseasonably awesome”...and of course, due to climate change, this has been a trend for the past few years. The Dutch have put the most positive spin on climate change I’ve heard! 😄

@SarahDalyCJ I just always remind myself why I’m studying the horrific stuff, in hopes of making a positive contribution to maybe reduce just some of it. And compartmentalization...and be grateful for happiness in my own world. But it’s still tough.
I have the pleasure of starting a new job today at this fine organisation in information security. I’m also now living in The Netherlands...let’s just let that sink in.
