@nikkiusher I tell students in my writing classes that they don’t have to sound smart in their writing because they already are smart. I followed that by explaining that clarity was essential. Some definitely thought contorted sentences made them sound smart. That’s what academe was to them.

@TruistNews Truist is terrible. I had #Suntrust mortgage, now w/ #Truist. 11 years of paymnts, no problems. First Truist payment and I’m double charged. Was told glitch would be corrected. It wasn’t. Told that 3 supervisors/managers would call me. No one called. Customer service is horrific
