It’s true: after decades of choosing @British_Airways first when flying anywhere I am now actively moving away from using them. Gold status will be lost next month (despite first class and business class being my only fares). Own goal on the loyalty front it would seem.

Hence us coming to you… there is a window now to check the seat pocket of the plane while it is at Heathrow before it flies on to a new destination.

Our concern is that it will not be found for several flights and therefore could be handed in anywhere! Thank you.

Another day in Khan’s London: single female in Kensington. Saying and doing nothing more than walking the 5 mins to her bus stop. Cyclist (male) on the pavement makes abusive comments as he whizzes by. Second cyclist on the pavement at least doesn’t make any comments. #london

@PhilSheaS It is also true that the quality of drivers has deteriorated in London, but as a pedestrian it is the twats on bikes who scare me.

@PhilSheaS There are an awful lot of them. Not a day goes by without a twat on a bike cycling past me on the pavement. I haven’t been at a red light in years where twats on bikes stop. I don’t feel safe crossing at Hyde Park Corner with all the twats coming so close to me…

Horrific Goldcar exp at Rome FCO. GC gave me a battered car. Drove the car carefully. At return chap found ‘new damage’ under the front bumper. Not visible in my initial video because it is UNDER THE CAR! Bullied to sign a form -single female traveller anxious re check in. 1/2

So moral of the story: check under the car before agreeing to taking a Goldcar car, especially if you are travelling alone as a woman. Wish I had checked

@FraserNelson Nonsense. My bus journey to work takes twice as long as it did a year ago thanks to chaotic road management. This type of reduction in quality of life is impactful and meaningful.
