I lost count of the number of times I was told, as a deputy headteacher and headteacher, that temporary exclusions (i.e. suspensions) were NOT to be used as a form of consequence (usually by the same people who rapped my knuckles for using the word ‘rules’).

Every athlete has a story about their journey to the #Olympic2024 however Lola Anderson’s pulls at the heart strings that little bit more!!

What a result! They were never winning until the last stroke/surge ❤️❤️

It was a diary entry Lola had thrown away as a child which said her dream was to win Olympic rowing gold. Her dad had kept it.
