@DrDoyleSays It's unconditional support- the core to just about everything with our clients. I can't imagine seeing it as anything other. My own therapist is an amazing cheerleader even as he reminds me to breathe (sometimes it slips my mind 🤦🏻♀️) and challenges the heck out of my brain!
Why do issues pop up on weekends when offices are closed? Has anyone who might read this have any experience with neck pain that might or might not be extremely painful when moving your head down? 😑 So frustrated. I refuse to bother my neuro on a Sat night. #plsdontbeMSrelated
I'm excited to be taking on a new role, with all new students, in a whole new environment this year! But that means that I'm building my class/student/office space from scratch!
Please feel to take a look at or share if you can! Thank you!!

A full day of jury duty on a folding chair=very, very unhappy. I can't tell if it's stiffness or numbness but my goodness. I'm pretty sure my body currently hates me.
@AaronBosterMD Forgive me trying to decipher the article...I know NfL is a marker for disease activity (what I'd think of as new/active lesions) but is this saying it might also be able to speak to PIRA?
@DrDoyleSays Great read. The amount of time I try to convince myself that my memories can't be real, or that I am just remembering incorrectly, is obnoxiously frustrating. 'That couldn't have happened' and 'that couldn't have been my life' are frequent flyers.
@DrDoyleSays That level of trust is so hard. The reality of being vulnerable takes over and it's just an insane fear. Im fortunate to have a safe space when it comes to therapy, but even then it can be a struggle. I can shut down as if it was a skill. Such an unintentional reflexive response.
@DrDoyleSays 'Feeling like a stranger to ourselves' is such a powerful statement. It is a hard concept for some to grasp, but that pull and sadness between who you are and who you should be is intense. Feeling lost is an understatement.
@AimTrue7 I feel every word of that statement. I just about refuse to have a panic attack in front of someone. Even in therapy, if I can tell it's where I'm heading, I spend so much time thinking to myself that I can't let it show. Doesn't usually end well. The shame is intense.
@Theholisticpsyc I am extremely uncomfortable accepting compliments. I try to keep my internal monologue quiet. In session, my poor therapist tries to get the positives and kinder words towards myself, but the freeze that takes over is intense. How do you find words you don't readily believe?
