I saw a list of the “true luxuries” in life the other day.

It included time, a quiet mind, and real honest connection.

It got me thinking. What are some of the things I consider luxuries? Not material things… but the kind of things that make my heart light up. Things that I love. Things that set my soul on fire. Things that I am grateful for.

Ja, it often seems like we (many of us) are chasing wealth, fame, recognition, perfection, approval, status or that next “big” thing… but the real luxuries in life are often small, simple, quiet and incredibly important.

Here are 11 of mine:

Health.
Feeling safe.
Having enough.
A good night’s sleep.
Hope that doesn’t quit.
Kindness for no reason.
Being truly seen and heard.
Peace in your own company.
Memories that warm your heart.
Time spent with people who fill your cup.
Doing what you love. And loving what you do.

And yes… time. A quiet mind. And real honest connection definitely make the list too.

I hope you find some of these luxuries today. Or maybe a few of your own.
