This has to be the over reach moment when Europe stops pretending this guy is normal or can be dealt with normally, and they get their act together and fight back. He is an enemy over Ukraine and an enemy over a NATO country, Denmark, whose defence of Greenland has been weakened not by them but by the USA. He is a narcissist who cares only for himself and his fellow grifters and cultists, and his deeply fragile ego. He is a bully who will respect nobody and nothing that fails to stand up to him. I have many American friends and am deeply sorry it has got to this but while he is leader it is not a place we can support in any way. And given the chaos he is causing home and abroad it might be about time his NBF at @FIFAcom Infantino thought about shifting the World Cup to a country that wants people to feel welcome. 🇬🇧 🇩🇪 🇫🇷 🇮🇹 among the many who could step in. But for now he just needs to be told DO ONE DONNY
If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times — being good at acting will always be more important than kind of looking like the real-life person you're portraying, that's why they call it acting
gal gadot is such a fascinatingly bad actor that she almost achieves something surreal. every decision the wrong one but so lacking in subtlety that the gap between clear intention and what is actually performed makes you wonder how you’ve ever been convinced of emotion before

Terence Davies reciting a Shakespeare sonnet about unrequited love to a packed out @BFI theatre was a shattering way to conclude this morning’s screening of Benediction at #LFF. A sumptuous & poignant biopic infused with so much yearning & aching sadness, but wickedly funny too.
I thought #ShangChi was terrific in every way. LOVED the fight choreography & action sequences. A few great surprises & neat little cameos w/ just the right amount of humor. Add a wild, fantastical finale with a strong emotional core, and it’s honestly one of Marvel’s best, imo.
We did eat the rum cake off the floor and were inseparable after that. But I was captivated by her even earlier in the meal when I heard her at the end of the table laughing at my jokes. She had me at Ha.
