@TicketmasterUK tickets for @mcflymusic vs @Busted@OVOHydro moved to an unsuitable seat due to health concerns. You are unwilling to move them to more suitable, empty seats because it’s 3 days to the gig but only sent email saying the seats had been changed 8.15 pm yesterday.
@nerdabetic@DrAliLumb@DTN_UK Would it be possible to ask about the @medtrumdiabetes hybrid closed loop and if there are plans to allow access again in the near future? I’m not sure if I will be able to join live on Wednesday. It was working well for my daughter before access was removed last year.
@flippper1@drpratikc@DTN_UK@DSNforumUK That’s great for the people who can get access to their teams to ask about HCL. My husband has been asking for an appointment with his team for years only to be ignored @NHSaaa
Look at this amazing news in England.
Meanwhile in Scotland. Waiting lists are getting longer, choices are being restricted & T1s are being denied access to tech.
@jenni_minto would you care to comment?

I’d love to know too. What is Scotlands plan?
With #T1D you have to plan. We need reassurances we will have funding next year. How many of us fear our tech will be taken away as it’s “too expensive?”
Thank you Foysol for being a voice for us in the Scottish Parliament.

We're excited to introduce our new film, ‘What a cure feels like’, celebrating our transformation to Breakthrough T1D!
The film features real people affected by type 1 diabetes (T1D) and captures the relentless nature of living with T1D and the hundreds of extra decisions made each day.
We would like to say a special thank you to @tara_humphrey and her daughter Tahlia, @LisWarren, @joem_ and his partner Salman and @Jonpeach5 who shared their experiences and worked alongside us to create this film.
Together, let's raise awareness and inspire hope for a future without T1D💙

This ⬇️⬇️ all children & all adults that want should be able t get access to tech.
Yes there’s a lot of us in Scotland approx 36k.
We just need to get the money & plan in place.
#DiabetesTechCantWait
Honoured to chair a roundtable on life-saving diabetes tech. We heard from professionals Professor Partha Kar, Dr Stuart Ritchie & Dexcom, campaigners iPAG & many with lived experience, such as Adam.
We must remove barriers to this tech & increase funding #DiabetesTechCantWait
Some of us attended the roundtable for diabetes tech in Scotland. Thank you #Dexcom & @FoysolChoudhury for hosting. Together we can make a difference.
@T1_Lesley@FoysolChoudhury @Siobhianayr are you able to attend? My daughter has access to technology to help her with her type 1 diabetes but my husband hasn’t been able to see his diabetic care team in years after asking multiple times for an appointment so he has no chance of any technology to help him.
The forward to the #DiabetesTechCantWait report. We were filled with hope when writing this. Tech is not a luxury we’re not asking for the latest iPhone or Taylor Swift tickets. We want some form of a normal life without the extra 180 decisions, the alarms, the fatigue
@scotgovhealth@neilcgray Awesome. Great having the money for tech that you cant get access to unless you are seen by a team which is unbelievably difficult.
