Wheaton thumps Northwood 12-2 in the 4A North II opener. Like Poolesville, they still have their ace available Cole Williams (Salisbury) for Blake.

Blake scored off Williams earlier this spring but he's more than capable of rebounding. This could make for a competitive rematch.

It was a great day to celebrate our Seniors - Cole Williams, Ryan Hoffman, Vincent Cuadros, Matthew Peterson, Derek DePasquale, Eric Cary, and Daniel Campbell.

Derek DePasquale(left) had 3 RBIs on the day for Wheaton. Had some crucial at-bats.

Cole Williams(mid) had a great start on the bump 4r/1er/11Ks through 5.2. Added single and 2 runs scored on offense.

Rich Amparo(right) had what the at-bat that scored the winning run in top 8.

The Knights take down Northwood by a score of 9-4. Sr Eric Cary had a big day with 4 RBIs including a game changing triple. Sr Derek DePasquale got the save on the mound and pitched a great 3 innings to close it out.

Knights enter the break 4-1.

The Knights took down Kennedy today in the Battle of Randolph.

Wheaton was highlighted by Derek DePasquale who had 4 hits and 6 RBIs.
Vincent Cuadros contributed 2 RBIs.
Bryan Rodriguez picked up a 2 RBI double as his 1st Varsity hit.

Wheaton Baseball takes down Magruder 11-1. @Cole_Williams08 has a stellar game on the mound 5ip, 11Ks, 2h. He also had multiple hits. Everyone contributed offensively. Knights have the battle of Randolph Rd tomorrow at Kennedy HS 3:45pm.

Knights stay hot, 10-7 win over PB. Soph Josh Cadman gets the win on the bump. Cole Williams the save. Williams, Hoffman, Rossotto, Z. Moore all had clutch ABs and all score multiple runs. Jr Derek DePasquale finished 1-1 2 RBIs and 2 BBs. Close the regular season vs SV on Sat.

Senior Davide Rossotto throws an absolute gem - 7ip, 1 h, 14Ks. Unfortunately a BB and 3 errors in the 7th led to a loss 3-2. Junior Derek DePasquale with a big 2B today to stay hot. Knights are at Springbrook tomorrow. First pitch is 3:45pm.

Boys came to play today. In a back and forth game with undefeated Churchill. Knights lost 12-11 on a walkoff GS. Everybody hit for the Knights, but Cole Williams granny and Davide Rossotto 3 run HR got the offense going. Hoping to stay hot - 6 games in the next 10 days.

After getting down 4-0, the Knights battle back to defeat the Northwood Gladiators by a score of 10-4. The Knights were highlighted by senior CF Davide Rossotto. He hit the first ever HR out of the new field in the 4th inning and tripled in the 5th. Next: Blair at home on Tues.
