£16,500 raised in less than 24 hours. Absolutely incredible.
Every donation, every share, every message of support is helping us create opportunities for people who otherwise might miss out on being part of Sheffield Wednesday.
But we’re only just getting started.
If you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the time. Whether it’s £1 or £1,867, every contribution moves us closer to changing someone’s season.
Let’s see how far we can take it.

We’re a cautious bunch and rightly so.. but there can’t be many Wednesdayites who heard David Bruce and David Storch speak tonight and feel anything but optimism for the future. Hearing phrases like ‘fan acquisition strategy’ and ‘Footballing identity’ at S6 is incredible. #swfc
Really good indications of actual strategic thinking in the season ticket price structure at #swfc. Age banding is spot on 👏 Getting a lot right early on.

Have you heard there’s a rumour?
Have you heard there’s a buzz?
Have you heard they’re all talking?
They’re talking about us.

@Leekie1867 Interested to understand the gap analysis that’s been conducted here - which section of Wednesday fans feel underrepresented by the Trust that saved our football club?
@Leekie1867@wellbeaten1977 Question and dont take this the wrong way, but why not just join the trust and vote people on the board? I get a range of fans groups may have different agents, but one massive fan group would have more influence
Today marks 33 years since Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday faced each other in the Coca-Cola Cup final at Wembley.
It was the first ever European club match to use squad numbers and have names on the back of the shirts.
Game changer.
So let me get this straight…
Owner runs #swfc into the ground, doesn’t pay staff/players, leaves — and the EFL want new owners to compensate him?
Then dock them 15 points?
Have they not suffered enough? Disgraceful.
We are all with you Wednesday fans fuck the @EFL#swfc
Definitely not a #swfc fan, But just so I'm clear, their former owner asset strips club, leaves Hillsborough in a state, doesn't pay staff/players. Leaves. Then EFL want new owners to pay over the odds to compensate Chansiri?! Then deduct SW another 15 points? That's insane #lufc
Points deduction for Sheffield Wednesday next season completely unfair for me.
David Storch is already inheriting a huge mess, and a massive rebuild, from Dejphon Chansiri, and seems to be doing all the right things.
I don’t see which relevant parties this punishes, nor which it benefits (other than Wednesday’s division rivals).
The rules and regulations have to take contextual nuance into account on things like this, otherwise you create situations that don’t reflect the true spirit of the game.
Would implore the EFL to review this.
#FairDealForWednesday
The man who wants to rescue Sheffield Wednesday, American businessman David Storch, says he has been “informed that a 15-point penalty is set to be imposed at the start of next season” in League One. The outgoing owner Dejphon Chansiri should hang his head in shame at the damage he has inflicted on Sheffield Wednesday. He can’t have a conscience. Otherwise he’d accept a compromise on bid price.
The EFL should have been tougher with Chansiri quicker. The FA should remember it is supposed to be custodians of the game and protect clubs. The importance of an Independent Football Regulator, much delayed by vested interests, is highlighted again by events at Wednesday.
At the moment, the people being punished at Wednesday are fans, players, staff and the man who wants to save them. Shameful situation engulfing a historic club which could have been avoided with stronger leadership by the authorities. And Chansiri locating some principles. #SWFC
Sheffield Wednesday must be given a fair hearing.
We are calling for independent scrutiny before any 15-point deduction is imposed. The current process lacks transparency and a clear route to appeal.

@KieranMaguire Chelsea - dodgy payments for world class players who go on to win loads. A fine they can easily pay and no transfer ban.
Sheff Weds - idiot owner, screwed fans over, wages not paid. No one, even Chansiri, benefited a thing. Huge points deductions, transfer bans and wage caps.
🤔
Back in the States now, reflecting on an unbelievable week in Sheffield…. on behalf of Michael, Tom and myself, I want to thank the wonderful city of Sheffield, the local members of the community we met, the Supporters’ Trust and the Sheffield Wednesday fans for making us feel so incredibly welcome.
We are listening to and collaborating with talented Wednesdayites across the city to ensure we deliver a best in class fan experience. Whilst we continue to work diligently to become stewards of this unique and historic club, please know that we will be doing everything we can in the interest of a “Better Wednesday” and a brighter future for everyone associated with Sheffield Wednesday.
See you soon!
David

The EFL’s own guidance recognises that every case is different and provides the discretion needed to reach a fair outcome.
We urge the EFL to apply that discretion responsibly.
Sheffield Wednesday supporters have suffered enough.

A train guard with a Derby ish accent has just seen my screensaver and expressed solidarity by saying he hopes we get relegated before Sunday. Strange times when that’s a genuinely supportive statement. #swfc
It is a pleasure to welcome the Wrexham Supporters Trust to Hillsborough today.
We’re hugely grateful to Wrexham supporters and the club for their solidarity, and for the generous donation they made to our cause when we were at our lowest. It was a gesture that reflects the very best of supporter culture.
Ahead of kick-off, representatives from both trusts went pitchside, where we were proud to present our guests with a Sheffield Wednesday Supporters’ Trust shirt as a small token of thanks and mutual respect.
Supporters inside the ground, please keep an eye on the in-game advertising boards for a special message during the match.
🤝 Fans together. Football has an ownership problem.
🤍Thank you @WSTtweets
