August is here and I hate it. Even though it is my birthday month I dread it because it means summer is almost over. Summer speeds by while the winters get longer and longer. Each year I despise the long cold darkness of winter more and more.

My husband's buddy is gone . Feral cat he domesticated who became his daily companion never came home the other day. He went outside during the day and stayed in our basement at night. Never came home the other night. Went away to die? Husband is devastated.
