@CrimeLineLaw It's not above inflation. The measure normally used is the Sep rate of CPI which was 3.8%. MoD have used the Apr rate & spun it into a positive.
@JohnHealey_MP The Sep rate is normally used which was 3.8% so 3.6% isn't inflation busting. Mil personnel know this so they will now assume you are economical with the truth & won't believe anything you say. Your fault I'm afraid π€·π½ββοΈ
@BladeoftheS They use proper accountants who know what they're doing. HMRC uses WFH, DEI riddled sick notes who are as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
@LukePollard It's supposed to be the Sep rate of CPI which was 3.8% not 3.6%. You've made up a different figure & spun it to make a headline. Stop lying, please, just stop.
@DefenceHQ Historically inflationary pay rises used the Sep rate of CPI which stood at 3.8%. Your deliberate manipulation to quote a different figure is disingenuous at best. Note that accom charges will rise by 3.8%. You snakes.
@thinkdefence I'll bet there's a simple & cheap fix for the noise & vibration issues. Experiment with tie bars & different isolation mounts, it's hardly beyond the wit of man.
@UKDefJournal MSI 30mm are fitted to T23, T45 & river class OPV and will be fitted to T26. QEC also have space margin for them. Prob not fitted to T31 because they'll have Bofors 40mm.
@rawespresso Nothing new, I remember most of my era at the same age had pretty much nothing saved and family allowance was pretty much the only benefit if you were in work. No tax credits, housing benefit or UC.
@AlistairCarns Thanks. Where's my 2015 pension remedy? Not enough resource allocated to the task, I'll have left this mortal coil by the time MoD gets it's act together.
@PolitlcsUK@DailyMirror CPI used for forces pay rises normally the 12m Sep rate from previous year which was 3.8%. Inflation busting from this Govt could be 3.9%!
@iAmJoshHunt The last gasps by the machinery of state, mired in process, bloated by bureaucrats obsessed with LGBT or off sick, everyone on the take, no unity.
