Sadly @CharlotteFC/@JCLaBue, here we go again. Prices went up $388 per seat in 2023 and now another $230 for 2025. This has been something I’ve been trying to wrap my head around since invoices went out, and this time, I’m done. (A 🧵)
This is an official government account in a democracy.
This is what Orbanism looks like. The president bragging, via AI video, that he forced a comedian who mocked him off the air and ‘into the trash’.
If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, legal protections, bailouts, and trade protections?
and why when citizens need these things, it's socialism?
Don Lemon: “If Barack Obama had sued his own government, settled with himself in secret, created a billion dollar fund with no congressional oversight to pay his political allies. What if he did that? They would’ve had him in chains before sundown. The National Guard would have been called in. Impeachment articles would have been filed. Can you imagine Fox News?”
@svwhit@CarrollRogers There’s a difference sadly between what is reported by the club for attendance and how many tickets were used (ie how many through the turnstiles).
You must provide your ID, but they can wear masks and conceal their identities.
You must comply with every order, even when they ignore the very laws they’re sworn to uphold.
You’re told to prioritize the officer’s “safety,” while his masked buddies surround your car armed to the teeth.
You can't be armed, but they’re armed with military-grade weapons and authorized to use them to enforce compliance.
You can't protest or "interfere", but they can enter your homes, detain your children, and kill your neighbors.
You can't film them, but they can monitor your movements, scan your license plate, and track your location in real time.
You can be fined and imprisoned for one wrong move, but they’re shielded by qualified immunity, and legally allowed to deceive you during questioning.
At some point, the power dynamic reversed.
Public servants became untouchable authorities, and abuse of power was rebranded as “order.” In the process, we’ve normalized state-sanctioned extortion, brutality, and subservience to law enforcement.
If these profound double standards don’t alarm you, it’s not because they aren’t there. It’s because you’ve been trained not to notice. That’s how we got here.
It's time to start noticing and say no more...
The deaths of Renée Nicole Good and Alex Pretti are unconscionable and weighing heavily on so many of our hearts.
Over recent weeks, in Minneapolis and other communities across the country, we have seen neighbors standing up for each other with courage, compassion, and solidarity.
No one in the United States should ever have to fear losing their life for taking peaceful, principled action in support of their beliefs.
Our country is not our government—our country is us, we the people. For 250 years, we have been bound together by bedrock values, the rule of law, and inalienable rights.
There is nothing more American than exercising our rights and holding our government accountable. Our democracy depends on it.
I would offer that Alex Pretti putting his body—with his hands up—between a woman and the BP agent who had just violently shoved her into the snow, offer stark competing visions of manhood. Pretti, a nurse caring for veterans, who took a face full of pepper spray to shield that woman, is a much better masculine ideal that the masked coward shoving the woman and executing a man on his knees. MAGA may venerate the latter, but most people in a healthy society want the former.
“If JFK didn’t want to be assassinated, he shouldn’t have been riding in parades.
Why would Martin Luther King be hanging out on a balcony?
And maybe that Jesus guy should stay his ass out of temples if he doesn’t want to be crucified!”

BREAKING: Donald Trump is erasing American history because he doesn’t like what it says.
This is happening at Independence National Historical Park’s President’s House in Philadelphia, where exhibits on the people George Washington enslaved are being removed after Trump’s administration ordered reviews of content deemed to “disparage” America.
It’s state-sanctioned amnesia. You don’t honor history by hiding it. This is what Putin does. This is what Hitler did.
Here's what Trump cut in his first year in office:
—$990 billion from healthcare services
—$187 billion from nutrition programs
—$500 billion from clean energy programs and credits
Let's be clear.
Every penny of those cuts went on to pay for his tax breaks for the rich.
-74% of all insulin used in America comes from Denmark.
-100% of all Ozempic used in America comes from Denmark
-15% of all shipping containers arriving in America come from a Danish company
All 3 are being discussed within Denmark to halt.
@ForwardCarolina Doing it in competitive states means people see the brutality first hand or have friends taken they thought were safe & his followers flip. Doing it in states that are already against him just rallies those from afar to think he’s doing right punishing blue states.
