House advanced HB 3711: Every school district (including TPS) must publicly post their exact % of budget spent on actual classroom instruction (NCES definition) before any bond election.
Tulsa Public Schools is asking for $609 million on the April 7 ballot — yet they currently do not prominently show this number.
No more smoke and mirrors. Before asking for that much money, show us the % going to classrooms (~49% per latest NCES data).
