Idea for @Cardano_CF: I'm hearing/seeing that you already paid deposits on your space for the dates and times you told us the summit would be held, this year, in Singapore, around the time of Token 2049 (Oct 5-6 iirc). Do it. Charge for booths, get sponsors, charge for tickets. Provide sufficient proof of both spend, attendance, sponsorship, and at least some outcomes... Then ask us to reimburse you the difference. If a $1M USD/day event is truly worth it, then surely you are well capitalized enough to prove it to the community and get reimbursed on the backside, just like all FEs ask people attending conferences and events on their behalf to pay for their own airfare, hotels, and lodging and get reimbursed afterwards.
I had the pleasure of interviewing @F_ZK_Now, President of Midnight Network
Before meeting the Midnight team, I'll admit I was a bit skeptical:
"Why do we need another privacy network when Zcash and Monero already exist?"
Then I met Fahmi - and he described his vision for why Midnight Network and programmable privacy are essential, vs FULL privacy networks like Zcash and Monero
While many builders have exited crypto or grown tired of the industry, Fahmi has an undeniable enthusiasm that was both contagious and refreshing
3 days later I got a chance to interview him, and share the thesis and vision for Midnight with you all
The entire Midnight team is a breath of fresh air, huge thank you to them for being such great partners and preserving one of the few core narratives that exist for Crypto: Privacy

An update on our engagement with @Mastercard.
While Cardano was not included in the initial cohort of 85 launch partners, @emurgo_io has been actively engaging with their APAC team to change that and ensure our ecosystem is represented.
Following a leadership transition at Mastercard APAC —where our primary contact moved to EY — we have successfully connected with his successors. They were excited to speak with us and I am pleased to share we are now in the Qualification Stage for the Global Crypto Partner Program.
With the continued support of the Cardano community, I am confident in a positive outcome.
This important:
Please like and share to show @Mastercard the strength of our ecosystem. Mastercard is a global firm.. we need to show them that our inclusion into their Partner Program will make a difference to them. Surely this is an initiative the entire Cardano ecosystem can support! #cardano86
Let's go!!!

@PeterLBrandt Just wondering about 12. Wouldn't be better to get a car on loan and use the cash for some investment? Of course if the rates on loan are not high.
Congratulations to @StricaHQ and all the $FNX holders. It has been an extremely long and tough road but things finally got approved. Looking forward to seeing the CEX grow and really seeing India embrace crypto. Well done .
TLDR, Cardano OGs built their own licensed approved CEX in India that will have lending and borrowing.
On the @snek Treasury Loan Proposal
First things first - I appreciate the Snek team and community. I've personally helped with exchange introductions and vouched for Snek in the past, which eventually led to listings on Kraken and https://t.co/xCdBQEPe7V. This message is about setting up a repeatable, fair framework so that what we approve today becomes a pathway for tomorrow's builders, not a one-off exception.
Where I Stand
I'm leaning YES on a loan-based approach if the proposal is adjusted to meet a few ecosystem-level guardrails. If these aren't adopted, I'll lean to NO. My goal is simple: turn this into a program other projects can qualify for, not an exclusive deal.
What Needs to Improve
Non-Exclusivity & Program Pathway - convert this into a "Treasury Listing Access Program"(TLAP) pilot - if $snek meets the bar, great but 'codify' the bar so any Cardano-native token that hits the same metrics can apply for the same terms.
Publish objective, token-agnostic criteria so DReps aren't voting on popularity - they're voting on standards.
Advisor/Board Governance & Conflicts
- No compensation to advisors from treasury funds unless explicitly disclosed and capped - publish any conflicts and recusal rules.
On "Exclusivity"
I asked the team to consider an inclusive structure. They chose exclusive. I respect their perspective but I cannot support a design that locks out future Cardano projects from the same pathway. If Snek can be first, great - just don't be the last. Let's set a policy precedent, not a personality precedent.
Where the Proposal Can Improve
These are nice-to-haves:
Light Collateral / Good-Faith Backstop
- A modest, clearly defined collateral or revenue assignment (e.g a slice of specific product revenues during the loan term) would signal alignment without over-engineering the deal.
- Revenue Transparency (especially around https://t.co/sDkapPoijM)
Splash and Snek are associated with https://t.co/sDkapPoijM - please disclose actual revenue streams that will service the loan (sources, cadence, on-chain proofs where possible)
To the Snek Community
You're passionate and you execute! That's valuable for Cardano. A loan that returns ADA to the treasury, builds reusable infrastructure and sets clear standards - is something I can stand behind.
To #DReps Considering This Info Action
Please anchor your support to conditions that outlive any one token:
YES to a loan model with non-exclusivity discipline.
NO to proposals that spend public funds without itemized budgets, auditable milestones or a path other projects can follow.
My Vote
Leaning YES if the proposal is amended to:
adopt a non-exclusive - Treasury Listing Access Program (TLAP).
Otherwise, I'll lean NO and advocate for a fast follow-up that meets these requirements.
Wasn’t planning to respond to the $ADA voucher FUD…
But when someone who tried to DDoS Cardano during one of its biggest runs starts spreading lies about Charles & IOG—
Silence feels like complicity.
The facts are simple:
Charles didn’t control those funds.
IOG didn’t touch the voucher money.
This isn’t a scandal. It’s a smear campaign.
Charles has been nothing but transparent and supportive—especially to builders like us.
He’s shown up for this ecosystem over and over again.
And we’re not going to stay quiet while bad actors try to rewrite history.
