@champone@Vicgoch I wish it were true but sadly it’s not. The chaos is even worse with Starmer. He’s even sleazier than Boris Johnson. Only Truss has been worse since Neville Chamberlain.
@this_not_News Wrong. Motorists are worse offenders at jumping traffic lights so are the priority to have them made compulsory along with speed limiters.
Cyclist insurance is so cheap that’s it’s included for free in most people’s house insurance!
@HowardCCox Anyone unable to drive below the speed limit while looking where they are going must quit driving immediately and either get some remedial lessons or surrender their license to DVLA.
@TheFox89688362 Collisions are harder to avoid at higher speed. At 20mph there is all the time in the world.
It’s no surprise that insurance rates go down in areas with 20 mph limits.
@timobruhasleft@RMTunion@ASLEFunion@TfL@REFORM@UKLabour@LibDems It makes perfect sense for the RMT to oppose anything ASLEF wants as they are in competition over the same pool of train drivers.
It’s not in their members interests, just that of the union itself.
@James7Holland Ironically the financial sector that is strongly pro-EU has been fine while it’s the most Brexity parts of the country who’ve suffered.
Poetic justice maybe.
@m200klb@TravelEdNigel The indicators are only ever used these days in “flashers” mode to indicate that the driver is going to do something illegal and dangerous because they are lazy but it’s OK because they have exempted themselves from law or the Highway Code.
@Leighlines@LibDems Will there be a discount for cars painted in “Hi Viz”colours so that drivers can see them? It’s regularly claimed by motorists that all other colours are invisible to them.
