I met today with the Spanish Minister of Culture and I spoke to him about Gaza, life there, and its youth, whose ambitions have been destroyed by the ongoing annihilation in my country due to the Israeli occupation.

It was truly wonderful to meet and discuss Palestine and Gaza, sharing my experiences with him and I’m so grateful to find officials who are interested in listening and learning more from a young Palestinian photojournalist.

We are full of life, with hopes and dreams we want to achieve like everyone else around the world.

We deserve to live. We deserve freedom in our homeland, Palestine.
