The way she felt in the moment is what counts. NOT how she feels later after learning more. That’s not how the law or life works

@zapatas_mom Words have meaning and consequences. This can very well be a trauma response, but it will be the end of this case. She ended her case the moment she sent those texts. DNA and written/spoken word are the two most concrete pieces of evidence we can have in our court system.

@burnyourbinder It should! its a relatively minor experience, a guy who doesn’t talk to you after sex isn’t trauma, it’s a normal dating experience in your 20s that is not rape in any way. This shift towards calling it rape shows so many lack the ability to heal and move on from even minor hurts
