I knew next to nothing about rare diseases before working at @AmberPharmacy. Many of those with a rare conditions have little to no medications that provide relief in a meaningful way.
Today on #RareDiseaseDay we raise awareness for those with rare diseases to increase research efforts and create an easier path to diagnosis. Learn how you can get involved here. https://t.co/tIxu0PIUPH @rarediseaseday@RareDiseases
@drewoxide@janekleeb I agree. Having a plate that switches up the look will do wonders for Nebraska as we all travel the country and show another facet of our state.
The fact that it's impossible to walk somewhere as simple as a coffee shop nearly anywhere in the US, because we've made it illegal, is really one of the craziest things about modern America. We have to build walkable cities!
My hot take is that most of us have not adequately processed the trauma of the pandemic. And our sprawling, unprocessed trauma chews away at our brains in myriad ways that make us anxious about why we can’t seem to live our lives as instinctively or as joyously as we did in 2019.
Biking in a city with incomplete infrastructure is like descending a ski slope where segments become double black diamond for no discernible reason whatsoever.
“Someone with a 1-hr car commute needs to earn 40% more to be as happy as someone with a short walk to work. On the other hand, if someone shifts from a long commute to a walk, their happiness increases as much as if they’d fallen in love.” #CityMakingMath https://t.co/L9qdJ22ngc
