@DrNeilStone We need someone to look into why more people die in the icu than the general medicine ward!
This is a mystery that needs to be addressed stat! 😂
@agraybee@magi_jay And how is the USA any different? We created the “grand area” after ww2, murdering countless innocents to maintain economic and militaristic geopolitical dominance…
Were not “free,” we have contingent freedoms and manufactured consent
This is just moral grandstanding
@dr_andrealove I don’t even think they deserve any reply whatsoever. You’re doing gods work giving them that much credit.
Maybe we should start testing people before interacting with them to ensure they meet basic standards of competence… we just need to institute cognitive muzzling 😂
@algekalipso …generating data structures that create the illusion of separate agents and the experience of qualia.
Life forms are negentropic chaotic attractors, resisting entropy, sustaining the illusion of selfhood, and generating time as an emergent artifact.
Just my humble take
@algekalipso What makes most sense to me is this:
Consciousness is the ontological primitive; the void, fecund with infinite potentiality.
All material is emergent, bounding consciousness while defining its substrate.
Material structure modulates conscious experience computationally…
@algekalipso Thanks for the article!
I think the core issue with testing for consciousness like this is you are simply testing for a certain defined set called conscious experience which is a defined parameter, not ontological truth. And computational models are intriguing, but incomplete
@jtregunna@matsonj I’ve been using it as a tool to expand my knowledge and learn as i build. By beginning with a Birds Eye view, then breaking it down into a detailed outline, and finally working on component pieces nothing seems out of reach anymore
@jtregunna@matsonj That’s really cool. I think this is absolutely the ideal approach. With the rapid pace of change, adjusting tack is going to be crucial.
I’m quite a bit behind you, but working my way into the multi agent systems
@matsonj@jtregunna Absolutely. If you’re already skilled it’s an insane multiplier. But if you can’t code then you’re gonna have a lot of trouble
I had a silly issue because I accidentally targeted a child div, so I fed o3 my code… got wrong answers… once I realized my error it went yes! Goodjob
