@nari78 Yes! It is so connected! I think we strengthen ourselves by connecting to a broader philosophy and it can help us understand other educators and fuel our own teaching!
How is your brain handling all of these new terms and philosophical ideas? What is something that you learned or that shouted out to you in this sea of knowledge we are treading in? #ed300
#ed300 I think when we teach music to children, we forget to acknowledge the aesthetics that we are teaching them. We can still teach Western Classical music well, without treating music from world cultures as “different” and therefore “other.”
@malmorris300 Reflecting on our time as students can help us become more excellent teachers! I think when we loose touch with our inner learner is where things go wrong! Let's keep asking those questions!
#ED300 Learning how to become a better teacher seems like a series of contradicting ideas. You must do it all, but you never will be able to do everything.
#ED300 What are we doing to encourage students' sense of agency through our actions and words? It is easy to destroy unknowingly and difficult to cultivate intentionally.
