@ironeyhn@united What's the flight number? we can check if the cancellation was within their control, or was weather related. If the former, you may have a claim as outlined in their Contract of Carriage.
@laynemorgan@AmericanAir Put JetSettled in the game, Coach.
There's nuance here, but should be doable. Also, check out US DoT rules transportation(.)gov/airconsumer/airline-cancellation-delay-dashboard
@AshleySurber@SpiritAirlines Not legal. We can help, or you can pursue via their customer support. If not in your city of departure, you can get reimbursed for hotel/accommodation.
@inhousewriter@AveloAir In the U.S., DOT rules say if an airline cancels your flight, youβre entitled to a full refund if you choose not to travel, even on nonrefundable tickets (14 CFR Β§259.5 & Β§259.8). They donβt have to rebook you later at no cost, unless their policy says so.
@laurenbwolf@AmericanAir Lauren, you'll need to proactively reach out to them via their form. If you had to go to a hotel, they'll need to compensate you for that, too.

@mibarcelonavida@Lufthansa_USA I'm sure they'll say their broken form is due to a 'weather delay.'
Sorry to hear about your lost luggage - best of luck.
@StatenYorkHasan@AmericanAir Your best bet is to file directly with American. DOT rules state they are legally required to provide refund based on the difference.
@Jude_Muxworthy yeah, we've seen this happen before. You could try filing a formal claim or check out https://t.co/e5qAQO11Ez, we handle all the back-and-forth and go after the most. Totally hands-free.. No more phone calls.
