@TheEdExplorer I totally agree and identify with this reply! I have often felt anxiety over my Ed classes because assignments aren't "traditional" The design thinking assignment being one of them. It is stressfull but more authentic.

@MrsTenHove Is making clear connections between ABEd outcomes and non-standardized learning for our students is key when we teach from one stand point and then assess in another? I can just hear 17 year old me saying "Whats the point? Just tell me whats on the test!"

@MissNussbaum This does make sense! It is also something I struggle with. We are taught to teach from an inquiry stand point but then still have to adhere to the rigidity of the school system. Do you think it is time to start making changes in Ed so we encourage more inquiry? Can it change?

@MrsTenHove @Jon_Beckett @jthill This is a hard one Rebekah, especially as students get into the older grades with more curricular goals! I something being used in a classroom called "Why Wednesdays" Students were encouraged to ask why questions and then the class would search out answers each Wednesday.

@dmscott73 @KorolErin @jthill I think that creating positive relationships with our students is a start. That way they aren't afraid to ask the questions that they don't know the answers too. I want my students to take risks in their learning.
