@AstroAnnimal@Space_Station Congrats Anne! Can’t wait to follow while you’re up there! I love telling my students your awesome story & that amazing week back in 2013!
Wiseman. Glover. Koch. Hansen.
The next four Moon explorers have been chosen. The Artemis II mission now has a crew.

We used Apollo crew debriefs to identify skills needed for the next moon landings, including adaptability,
overcoming visual illusions, and enhanced crew coordination. Then we designed a training program to ensure we pick up where they left off. We Are Going (Back) @NASAArtemis
@EEtkina An amazing example of how topics from #edresearch and pedagogy can come together in a very practical way in a curriculum. Physics Ed is discussed but I think it is very applicable to all subject areas. https://t.co/kYKwlZ41DL
🤩 Step off of Earth and onto Mars as @NASAPersevere.
We collaborated w/ @NatGeo to help them create this new @Instagram immersive effect that lets you become our rover & places you inside Perseverance's newly released high-def panorama of Jezero Crater. https://t.co/uCYkngIKqH
Not sure why some schools R canceling spring breaks 4 Ss & Ts. Online schooling in the middle of pandemic is not less stressful & it certainly does not require less work. Mental health is as important as "continuity of instruction" for Ts & Ss. #edchat#satchat#tlap#suptchat
My one piece of advice if you’ve moved to a busy distance learning schedule: tell Ss up front about how you will show compassion so they don’t have to ask. Eg, “I will grant you any extensions you need no questions asked. I can give you alternative assignments that work for you.”
Watch HERstory in the making! 👩🚀👩🚀
On Friday morning, @Astro_Jessica & @Astro_Christina will venture outside @Space_Station for the FIRST EVER all-female spacewalk! Cheer them on and send us a photo from your students—we might feature YOU on the live broadcast 📺
Next thanks to Fr. John Browning for giving me my first teaching opportunity (at age 19) with a class of middle schoolers ... and for the many other lessons he taught me about being a “man for others” who listens to the ideas of others @spprep#prepforlife#PAEMST#iteachmath
