@StandUpForTrmp Are you asking whether we believe that the pole accurately reflects public opinion, or are you asking whether we agree with that opinion?
I am so tired of tweets that assume that a result is somehow fabricated just because you don’t personally fit the general result.
@SamAdlerBell@NYMag Your article, which I had discovered when it was quoted in The Week, really resonated with a message I was trying to send out after the election.
I look forward to reading more of your work; any chance you might open an account on blue sky?
I would like to thank the city manager of Springfield Ohio for taking that phone call. You may just have saved the world.

@IntuitMachine Overly uniform sentence length and structure. The analogy: Not doing hands well comes from predicting the next finger rather than seeing the whole hand. Chat GPT predicts the next word, but doesn’t plan the overall essay.
@7Veritas4@JoJoFromJerz Cats can be considered the rudest animal only if you count silent forms such as contempt and arrogance along with the occasional slashing
@MuellerSheWrote I think the answer is in some of these comments: when backed into a corner by facts, they produce an avalanche of false equivalence whataboutism.
@ItsAndyRyan About the N page though… do you figure the nude black folks are… Nubian? Yes, there is another term technically still in use, since the UNCF still exists, but… I don’t have a copy to tell me if there are nude Caucasians on the C page, to show it’s not singling out one race.
@Theholisticpsyc@RayForsyth85 Please say “typical,” here. I know you are using “normal” in the statistical sense, but those folks who don’t have inner dialogue might misunderstand being seen as “abnormal.”
@Theholisticpsyc@mrobinsonhum18 I’m glad you acknowledge that most, and therefore not all, people do this. I have had conversations about this, and so many people assume EVERYONE can hear their own voice internally, and the ADHD and ASD and others who don’t, are seen as missing something natural, basic, human.
@ChrisMurphyCT Thanks for saying this three times, making superb use of your tweet word limit, giving us all the context and rationale you apparently have to offer.

@LadyJayPersists I see how my tweet was mansplaining, especially my “you might realize” phrase, and that it was dismissive of your valid reaction. I see now that even if it was parody, it wouldn’t have helped you to point it out.
@MBBrownSF3 @LadyJayPersists Even if this was a parody account, which I will accept that it is not, (I was wrong), I can see how my tweet was dismissive in pointing this out. I let the lightheartedness of her language distract me from underlying anger, and wrote when I should have kept quiet.
@sklupine @LadyJayPersists I will see what you mean about my mansplaining, especially that “you might realize” phrase. I let myself get swayed into overconfidence by other posts saying that this was a parody account.
@Debbie51351 @LadyJayPersists I never implied that he was funny, but I stand corrected. It’s hard to believe he would encourage people to buy M&Ms if he is opposed to them, but maybe he’s stupid as well as genuinely hysterical in his misogyny.
