@acosta32_jp Lotta thoughts here.
1. This guy interviewed for a GM job and is posting edited memes
2. I don’t think he gets the meme
3. Also, just, why?
BIG MATT MILLER UPDATE
via @nytimes / @TheAthletic
After running 91 fantasy football leagues, scouting classes and raffles in 2025, Matt Miller had access to an estimated $100,000.
During the season Miller would spam league chats with raffles where league mates could win cash, Yeti merchandise, jerseys and Madden video games.
Miller would announce winners to the raffles but would never deliver any items.
Miller responded in an email to @TheAthletic saying “anyone with a legitimate claim to winnings should please contact him immediately.”
@SleeperHQ banned Matt Miller on May 7th because of several complaints that he was not paying out winners or refunding buy-ins to abandoned leagues.
Miller claimed he was donating buy-ins to the 417 Foundation (created by Matt Miller) and the 15 Percent Foundation (created by Matt Miller’s Mom).
He also created scholarships intended for non-white people but those were not delivered upon either.
The 417 Foundation was created by Matt in 2018 however its charitable status was rejected for failing to file registration reports. So instead Miller registered it as a business.
On the day of the crash Matt Miller was messaging league winners with promises that their payouts would be coming soon.
At 3:25PM, Miller turned into oncoming traffic where he hit a semi-truck. Thankfully the 28-year old truck driver swerved enough to avoid Matt saving his life.
Matt Miller said he can’t remember up to 10-minutes before the accident. But he remembers that he wasn’t on his phone and wasn’t distracted. All the other details are fuzzy, but he wasn’t breaking the law in any way.
@RiseNDraft The hate for this dude is crazy. He’s obviously bad but ur jealous you’ve never spent time in a NFL building. At least he’s been there, whatever capacity it was.
They can’t be you @firstroundmock
