I personally think is high-time for the Nigeria government to begin nationwide campaigns using "Moral Suasion" to quench the sporadic spread of warehouses looting, this will immediately tamed the breakdown of law & order.
@British_Airways treatment was inhuman. A mechanical fault on board caused 24hrs delay, which is understandable. Arriving on 15/12 without luggage, with no assistant,I had to look for where to complain. No SMS/mail, but a bag arrived on 16/12 & the other bag still hasn't arrived.

For over two decades, we’ve endured cycles of violence that are not mere clashes, but coordinated attempts at the annihilation of our people. Let us call it what it is genocide, fueled by a land-grabbing agenda, masked as farmer-herder disputes.
These atrocities didn’t begin with me, nor with the past Governors.
But together, we must be the generation that ends it.
I have heard the cries of our people. I have visited the graves, the camps, the broken homes. Mr. President himself called me personally to express his concern. Since then, we’ve been working tirelessly day and night to find solutions. But government alone cannot fix this. We need you. We need all hands on deck.
I did not come into office just to govern. I came with a mission to break the chains of poverty and help our people rise into prosperity. But how can we build schools when children are running from bullets? How can we develop agriculture when farmers are displaced from their land?
I do not stand before you today as a ruler, but as a servant. A servant of the Plateau agenda. A servant of our shared future.
Together, we must restore peace. Together, we will.

At the Taxpayers Month celebration in Bukuru, Jos South Local Government Area, Mr. Wayas thanked taxpayers who remained compliant for their contributions to the state's revenue growth.
"We are here at the Jos South headquarters to honor our taxpayers, especially those who have remained compliant, and to extend our gratitude," he stated.
In 2024, Plateau State recorded significant growth in its revenue collection, moving from ₦25 billion to ₦31.14 billion. Mr. Wayas credited this achievement to the dedication of taxpayers who remained compliant. “The growth has moved from ₦25 billion to ₦31.14 billion, and the only way we can give back to our taxpayers is to tell them thank you,” he added.
As part of the Taxpayers Month celebrations, the PSIRS organized various activities, including entertainment by Dantala and group, the registration of Tax Identification Numbers (TIN), sensitization on the importance of paying taxes, and distribution of hampers to attendees. The Chairman emphasized the need to appreciate taxpayers for their contribution to Plateau State’s development.
One of the key organizations honored during the event was the National Electricity Supply Company (NESCO), which has been providing electricity in Plateau State for over 100 years. “NESCO has been providing electricity, especially in the rural areas where mining activities happen, and they are one of the most tax-compliant agencies,” Mr. Wayas stated.
Mr. Wayas also commended NESCO for its dedication to maintaining its machinery, which has allowed the company to remain a significant contributor to the state’s revenue. “We come here to honor them and tell them that more is expected from them in 2025,” he remarked.
In addition to recognizing NESCO, Mr. Wayas mentioned that other compliant taxpayers would be acknowledged through social media, print, and broadcast media. “We will make sure that we propagate the good news of what they have been doing and their contributions to the growth of Plateau State,” he said.

Despite the challenges, Mr. Adama remained hopeful for improved partnerships with the government and other stakeholders. He emphasized that with better collaboration, NESCO could reach new heights. “With people like you for the government of the day, we also believe that we’re going to see some great improvement in terms of the partnership,” he stated.

The Plateau State Internal Revenue Service (PSIRS) ably led by Dr. Jim Pam Wayas recently wrapped up its inaugural Strategic Retreat of 2025, a three-day event focused on enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the state’s revenue collection processes.
BREAKING: Trump insists foreign students who come to study in American colleges will automatically receive Green Cards upon graduation! He maintains they will be assimilated into the American labor market. He also implied being in favor of legal immigration.
“You have to be able to recruit these people and keep the people…somebody graduates at the top of the class, they can’t even make a deal with the company because they don’t think they’re gonna be able to stay in the country. That is gonna end on Day 1!” Trump said.
And so, here comes the end of the H-1B visas row. This is Trump’s intelligent way of backing @elonmusk And personally, I think Elon means well for America and the MAGA movement.
And to all those Africans who wondered why I fought for Trump and peddled rumors of Trump being anti-immigration, please watch this as many times as you can. It’s not doctored, it’s not fake and it’s not old.
Compliments!

Our strategic initiatives are beginning to yield results, with Plateau State being selected to participate in the second phase of the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone (SAPZ) programme.
It was a delight when I received the news from the AFDB delegation that paid a visit to the New Government House.
I commend the AfDB team for their thorough presentation and I assure them that this administration is ready to actively engage the private sector in the successful implementation of the SAPZ programme within the state.
It was worthy to note that our agricultural policies align closely with the AfDB’s vision of increasing crop and vegetable production and export
The SAPZ programme aims to create specialized zones where agribusinesses can thrive by leveraging improved infrastructure, services, and policy support. While Phase One was successfully launched in seven states, Plateau State is now proud to join the 27 states poised to benefit from Phase Two.
Join us Tomorrow as we discuss Revenue collection and Transparency in Plateau State with Special Guest Mr Jim Pam Wayas the Executive Chairman, Plateau State Internal Revenue Service .
Be part of the conversation as we hold our leaders accountable and contribute to governance.

@A_Abby_Abi@CalebMutfwang GE @A_Abby_Abi@CyBabson ,My attention has been called to the harsh treatment on you & others. Firstly, I'd want to extend my heartfelt apologies on behalf of @officialPSIRS. However, Intel indicates that the operations are those of "nonstate actors" rather than @OfficialPSIRS.
I declared open the retreat and onboarding of New political appointees at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, today.
I had charged political appointees to aggregate their collective thoughts and work as a team for the purpose of effective service delivery to Plateau people.
We are coming at a critical time in the history of Plateau State, when the expectations of the people on government are very high.
Nothing justifies this matter than the spontaneous outbreak of joy that greeted our emergence after the elections were announced, followed by the inauguration held on May 29 which was unprecedented in the history of Plateau state.
I am praying and hoping that the confidence of the people of Plateau State that has been reposed on us will not be in vain. For us not to disappoint the people of Plateau State, we need to come together and understand ourselves and work as one unit.
