I saw this man earlier this evening in Wuye, behaving inappropriately towards some underage girls selling groundnuts. He appeared to be working probably as a gateman in one of the houses in the area.
When I approached them, he suddenly walked away, telling the girls he would return. This happened shortly after he noticed me getting out of my car with my phone. Suspecting that he might have sensed something was wrong, I pretended to be a customer wanting to buy some groundnuts, as shown in the second video.
The girls initially described him as their regular customer. While it appears that he forcefully takes groundnuts from their trays and eat them while pretending to be playing and touching them.
What particularly disturbed me was that there were people around, yet nobody seemed concerned enough to intervene. This is a dangerous precedent in our society.
Situations like this should never be ignored. What may appear harmless to some could expose these vulnerable children to further exploitation and abuse.
Parents, guardians and adults in our communities must be more vigilant. Sending young children out to hawk exposes them to risks from people who may take advantage of their vulnerability. We all have a responsibility to protect them.
May Allah protect our children, guide us and provide for our families.🙏🏾
Egypt installed 14 gigawatts of electricity capacity in just 27 months. Tinubu has therefore failed on electricity and has no excuse for not delivering on his promise. He failed woefully after vowing that
“by all means possible, we must have electricity.”
— Rufai Oseni commenting on Dele Alake on why the electricity promise was not fulfilled

This is preposterous
You are being disingenuous here and disrespectful to the soul of President Buhari
Please put context to what President Buhari said and stop trying to create an impression that PMB threatened to use the army to kill Nigerians
In any case there was no single report in 2019 of the @HQNigerianArmy@PoliceNG or @OfficialDSSNG being used by PMB administration to shoot voters or kill anyone
Why aren’t you speaking to the main subject of the PMB statement during that 2019 @OfficialAPCNg caucus?
🔥President Buhari said Nigerians should be respected and should be allowed to vote for the candidate of their choice across all parties
🔥PMB said he didn’t want Nigerians to accuse @OfficialAPCNg of trying to rig the elections
That is what we call responsible leadership and an authentic democrat

🚨Gianluigi Buffon on Jesús Owono’s life-ending challenge on Jesús de Miguel during the FC Andorra vs Tenerife match:
🗣️ Gianluigi Buffon: “As a goalkeeper, I understand exactly what goes through your mind in situations like that. Sometimes you leave your penalty area, you see a ball coming, and your first instinct is to protect your goal and prevent an opponent from getting through. Everything happens in a split second.
But what happened is beyond football. A player has lost his life, a family has lost someone they love, and there are two dressing rooms struggling to process something nobody should ever have to experience.
I want people to remember that Jesús Owono is also a human being. He went onto that pitch to play football, not to hurt anybody. I don’t believe any goalkeeper wakes up in the morning imagining that something like this could happen during a match.
That doesn’t mean we should ignore the seriousness of the incident or avoid examining what happened. But there is a difference between holding someone accountable and destroying their life with insults, threats and accusations before everything has been properly established.
I have spent my entire career as a goalkeeper. I know the responsibility that comes with that position, but I also know how quickly a decision can change everything.
My heart goes out to Jesús de Miguel’s family, his teammates and everyone at Tenerife. And I hope Owono receives the support he needs to get through this incredibly difficult period.
Football has lost a life. There should be no winners in a tragedy like this.”
Minister Dave Umahi can call himself the “Lion of the Southeast,” but that’s just empty poetry. He must first purchase a presidential election form, secure at least 6 million votes like Peter Obi did, and only then can he return to compare himself to Peter Obi..

Economic Reforms Are Making the Rich Richer and the Poor Poorer - Peterside
If you ask a rich man, he will tell you the current reforms are working because he is getting richer. The concern should be for the 140 million Nigerians who are getting poorer.
Atedo Peterside, President, ANAP Foundation, and Founder, IBTC Bank
“I’ve spoken with my management team, and we’ve made a decision that comes straight from the heart. ❤️
I can’t imagine the pain Jarvits Frimpong’s parents are going through. No parent deserves to bury their child, especially a child who left home chasing a better future and a brighter tomorrow.
I’ve decided to support the family by purchasing a small family house for them in Los Angeles, getting them a brand-new car, and establishing a $300,000 empowerment fund to help them rebuild their lives and secure their future.
I know money can never bring Jarvits back, and nothing we do can replace the son they lost. But if there's anything I can do to ease their pain and remind them that they're not alone, I will do it.
I also want to encourage other wealthy individuals, celebrities, business leaders and people of influence to come together and support this family.
Today, it's Jarvits' family. Tomorrow, it could be anybody. Let's use our blessings to make a difference in someone else's life.
Rest peacefully, Jarvits. You will never be forgotten. 🕊️❤️”—US Rapper, Cardi B

This is May Agbamuche-Mbu, the NEPO daughter of a former Attorney-General of Nigeria, Late Michael Ashikodi Agbamuche (SAN) who was Nigeria’s Attorney-General and Minister of Justice from September 1994 to 1997.
May is a benefactor of political fathers fixing their kids for continuous enjoyment, she was born in Kano, Nigeria though she is an indigene of Delta State. She Attended St. Louis Secondary School in Kano and later obtained her LL.B. from the University of Ife in 1984 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1985.
She then proceeded to London, to get more equipped academically. She completed an LL.M. in Commercial and Corporate Law at Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London, plus additional postgraduate programmes in International Dispute Resolution and International Business Law. She is qualified as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales.
She is also a Certified arbitrator and the former Secretary of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Nigeria branch / UK-Nigeria). She was a Managing Partner in the law firm, Norfolk Partners and once an editor of the Thisday Lawyer pullout, where she wrote the “Legal Eagle” column with over 120 editorials from 2014–2016. She has also served as the sole solicitor on the Presidential Projects Assessment Committee from 2010–2011, reviewing unfinished federal projects and on the ministerial committee that prepared the Roadmap for the Solid Minerals Sector in 2016.

She chaired and led the Legal Services, Clearance and Complaints Committee (LSCCC) and was involved in legal reforms, policy, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of off-cycle elections.
She is Nigeria’s first woman to serve as INEC chairman even though it was for only 2 days, 7th to 9th October 2025 after Professor Mahmood Yakubu handed over and began terminal leave. May Agbamuche-Mbu is regarded for her legal expertise, administrative experience, and contributions to electoral processes.
May Agbamuche-Mbu supervised as a National Commissioner 3 off-cycle governorship elections in Edo, Bayelsa and Rivers States. She is one of the oldest and coldest INEC staff members, a child of the system who would like the status quo to remain the same.
Solid Fact: The Agbamuche-Mbu family is a big name and May’s dad once worked for the Queen of England Elizabeth.
28-year-old Ohaozara LGA Chairman Engr. Osborn Umahi (son of Works Minister David Umahi) and the Umahi family just announced a ₦1.1 billion donation to Ndi Ohaozara for community welfare.
He was elected on 22 August 2026 and sworn in on 1 September 2026 — barely two months in office. He had publicly pledged not to take any salary or allowances throughout his tenure.
LGA chairman remuneration does not generate ₦1.1 billion in that timeframe. The money is presented as a personal/family donation. That raises the obvious public-interest question: what is the documented source of this wealth so soon after assuming office?
Nigerians are entitled to clear answers on asset origins, especially from political families with long years in high office. Transparency is not optional.
