@Teslarati That is sad to hear. The other members who are in their videos come across as thinking they know more than anyone else, and it's painful to listen to them talk to Tesla's folks who are comparatively super-humble.
What else is Verizon going to say? They are now a zombie business. I don't see how they can compete, especially not by raising my wireless bill $100 this year and making no investment in coverage in the hills of Austin TX. Maybe they can buy out who ever the 3rd party is who supplies google fiber in my area and do battle in a different market - until starlink is 10gb per terminal.
@chamath@Teslarati I hope we get something similar in size. We travel long distance with 5 people and a dog, and 4 mountain bikes and stuff for a couple weeks. The x is perfect for this task. We’re on x number 2.
@Teslarati Slow down for drainage ditches and speed bumps. We seem to have a style of drainage ditch in Texas that FSD uses as a dukes of hazard opportunity every time.
@xai xAI, I am experiencing 4.1 as a massive step backwards from Grok 4 thinking. It's now "more dumber" than I have ever seen poor grok. I can't use it any more in this state, and unfortunately you are doing this at a time when Gemini 3 pro is spectacular. I hope you fix it.
@Teslaconomics That's 7K more than they offered us for our raven 2020 long range last december w/75k miles. Carmax gave us 30K. Next '25 X-plaid was on lease.
I want explicit control over speed in certain cases and geo locals. I can’t use it anymore after the 14 update, it rips through my neighborhood and school zone as though it was a highway even in sloth. I get that it will not run over the kids playing around the road, but it’s risky and with 3 kids myself, I am not that person.
