Young people in food poverty: a lost generation?
This no longer shocks rather disgusts me! Starving cyp & families now become the norm. Food banks & School nursing tireless efforts NOT the answer
@WeSchoolNurses @LindsayGrahamUK https://t.co/cDqG5LM7a0
#FreeSchoolMeals On the left £30 of food. On the right what private company Chartwells have supplied having been awarded a government contract to supply for £30 free school meals.
Utterly shameful profiteering off some of the country's most disadvantaged kids!
This is so desperately needed for school leaders and teaching staff who have given their all during the pandemic. Without their efforts everything would grind to a halt, but this comes at a price. Support for school staff is absolutely essential.
Please follow @CAERBradford if you can. They are doing some amazing work using research to support schools and tackle social inequality. All happening right here in Bradford!
RT to your followers appreciated too! @LindsayGrahamUK @cllr_vanda_g @CllrRalphBerry
What a lovely charity to donate to. Amazing work done by @TheBiscuitFund making sure every penny goes to those who need it.

Community are researching the crisis facing self-employed workers post-COVID, looking at issues like tax, social security, job security and employment rights, and how they can be improved. If you're self-employed you can help by taking the survey here: https://t.co/piH5pjkr9N
Today's tragic loss of life in the Channel, involving children, is heartbreaking. These deaths are a result of the increasing desperation of refugees as their legal routes to safety close. Without legal routes their journeys are dangerous and traffickers are the only winners.
How many low paid workers who download the Track & Trace App realise they lose their entitlement to the £500 self isolation payment.
No entitlement to financial help but plenty of entitlement to being fined.
Tory shame.
Tory ideology requires poverty.
@grumpyfactcheck@Conservatives@PhilipDaviesUK Just to note, he actually attended one of these meetings, instead of attending a crucial vote, which would have extended fsm provision to all families on universal credit. So, there's that.
These are just some of the abusive messages I’ve recieved on social media.
It has spiked this week, but it’s been going on for a long time.
But I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - I will not be silenced and I’ll never stop speaking out.
Open pubs at 6am then 3 hours later try and tell us you can’t meet people from outside our houses in them.
The government’s handling of this crisis has been a disgrace from start to finish.
This is the next step in their plan to blame a second wave on the public.
Wake up.
Unbelievable but not surprising from this dishonest Tory Government. Imagine getting two separate Christmas presents only to find that each one is a single sock.
In answer to my question the Minister has confirmed that each glove is counted as a separate piece of PPE, so when they talk about 200 pieces of PPE, they mean a box of gloves. Just so everyone understands how little PPE was made available.
Is the Daily Mail going to apologise for its appalling smear of teachers now the medical and scientific experts have confirmed they agree with the teachers?
